It started while living in the Seattle area, with its ubiquitous coffee culture, the Hurley's could see the sustainable nature of the coffee shop business model. In 2011 they started their first flagship drive thru coffee shop and grew that to 3 locations. In 2016 they wanted to expand in the wholesale side of the industry, especially in the office coffee setting and that is when they launched Blackbird Beverages in San Diego. 5 years later Blackbird sells all over Southern California in Convention Centers, universities, hospitals, San Diego Zoo/Safari Park, restaurants, office and residential buildings. The success of our simple turn key kegerator system program allowing any business to use our free kegerator systems helped grow our business faster than our competitors that force clients into contracts and charge for equipment and maintenance.
